The 28-year-old was accused of carrying out attacks on two women in his own mansion.
After a three-hour hearing he was found innocent and cleared of all charges at the Chester Crown Court on Friday afternoon.
Due to the accusation Mendy is currently without a club as his contract with City expired this June. He played his last game for the Citizens almost 2 years ago in August 2021.
The French international full back was already cleared of six counts of rape and one count of sexual assault after a court case in January.
Now a free man Mendy has vowed to return to top flight football as quickly as possible.
