Petitti – an ex-MLB and TV executive, will be the future commissioner of Big 10. The appointment is expected to become official in the next few days.

Tony was among the final candidates that were interviewed in the last 2 days, and after a ballot, Petitti was selected from the chancellors and presidents of Big Ten.
He has experience in sports and media as COO of MLB and was also part of ABC Sports, CBS, and the MLB Network. Even when Petitti worked in the television business, he assisted in making the Bowl Championship Series and also worked with the NCAA competition.
Tony also was in charge of CSTV for a few months in 2018, which grew into CBS Sports Network.
