Bologna shock and eliminate Inter from Coppa Italia

Bologna won against Inter 2-1 at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in a match from the 1/8 finals of Coppa Italia and advanced to the ¼ finals of the tournament, where they will play against Fiorentina.

All of the goals in the game were scored in the extra 30 minutes as the regular time finished without goals, as Lautaro Martinez missed a penalty in the 65^th minute.

Carlos Augusto scored only after 2 minutes into the extra time in the 92^nd minute to give Inter the lead, and everyone thought that the home side would advance. However, Sam Beukema netted in the 112^th minute after Joshua Zirkzee’s assist to tie the game. Joshua Zirkzee gave another assist for the winning goal in the 116^th minute, scored by Dan Ndoye, which meant that the reigning Coppa Italia champions were eliminated, and we will see a new winner this season.
