Devin Booker looked hungry to play and scored 31 points in his return from a calf injury to push Suns to a 133-115 win over Minnesota TimberWolwes.
Kevin Durant also scored 31 on a perfect Wednesday night for Phoenix. The defeat snapped Timberwolves’ seven-game winning streak.
Booker was out for five games with a strained right calf and the fans were anticipating that this would be the first time when all three big names, Durant, Booker and Bradley Beal, played together, but Beal was left out of the squad with a sore back.
The duo of Booker and Durant provided plenty of production on Wednesday. Booker shot 12 of 22 from the field, adding five assists and four rebounds. Durant made 11 of 15 shots.
Anthony-Towns led the Timberwolves with 25 points on his 28th birthday while Mike Conley added 14 points while Anthony Edwards, Naz Reid and Jaden McDaniels each scored 13.
