Boston comes out ‘too cool’ after the halftime

After the 1^st two periods, everything looked very well for the Boston Celtics in Game 1 of the East Conference finals. Celtics were leading 66-57 at TD Garden at halftime and were close to winning the 1^st match in the series.

However, in the 3^rd period, Boston’s franchise looked nothing like the team from the 1^st 24 minutes as Miami scored 46 points in the 3^rd period as the home team answered with only 25. Nevertheless, the Floridian franchise had no problem closing the match in the 4^th period and taking the home-court advantage in the matchup.

“It’s only our fault,” the Celtics’ player Jaylen Brown answered when asked what happened in the 2^nd half. “We looked nothing like the team from the 1^st half. We came out too aristocratic. It was like we didn’t play in the finals but a regular season match. It’s the East Conference finals. So, like, wake up.”
