The Boston Bruins have escaped arbitration with Trent Frederic by agreeing to a 2-season, 4.6 million dollar contract today.

The forward (25) was a restricted free agent and was very near to his arbitration date later today.
Frederic had a career campaign in the past season, finishing with 17 goals and 31 points in 79 matches. He played in 5 matches in Boston’s 7 match series against the Florida Panthers in the 1st round but finished without a point.
Bruins picked him with the 29th overall selection at the 2016 NHL Draft, and he has 29 goals, 54 points, and 194 penalty minutes in the 198 matches in his career in the league.
He also played for the US internationally at the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship in Buffalo, notching 5 goals in 7 matches as his country finished 3rd.
