Tom Brady shared he explored the chance of coming out of retirement and returning to the league, sharing that the NFL did not “like very much that idea.”
Tom, who last played in the league 4 years ago and is now a minority owner of the Raiders, claimed that he is happy to be retired.
But the legend also revealed that he talked about his options with the league about his possibility of returning to the field while being an owner.
“I actually discussed this topic with them, and they were not very fond of the idea of me coming back,” Brady shared.
Tom, who will turn 49 this summer, would need to divest his ownership stake in Las Vegas if he were to pursue a comeback in the NFL, according to the rules.
The former Patriots superstar purchased a 5% share of the Raiders 2 years ago. Brady also shared with the media that he now enjoys playing flag football and that he enjoys not getting hit anymore.
Tom Brady told @sherman4949 that he asked the NFL about potentially returning as a player while still being a minority owner of the #Raiders.
