Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix will be sidelined for the remainder of the postseason after breaking a bone in his ankle during OT of today’s 33-30 victory against the Buffalo Bills, manager Sean Payton revealed.

Bo’s reserve in Denver is Jarrett Stidham.
“Jarrett is ready to play,” Sean shared. “We are prepared to face our next opponent, no matter who it will be.”
Stidham, in his 3rd campaign with the Broncos and 6th overall in the league, appeared in 1 match in the current campaign and has not attempted a pass in the past 2 years.
Nix was 26-of-46 for 279 yards and 3 TDs while also rushing for 29 yards on 12 carries during the dramatic triumph against Buffalo.
Denver will play against either the Patriots or the Texans for the AFC title next weekend at Empower Field at Mile High, where the top-seeded Broncos have triumphed in 14 of their past 15 matches. However, now they must do it without their starting quarterback.
