The Brooklyn Nets dismissed boss Jacque Vaughn in the morning, the franchise shared.

The ex-NBA guard was in his 2nd campaign as manager of Brooklyn, who are 21-33 and sit in 11th place in the Eastern Conference. The organization finished a disappointing 1st half of the campaign with a 50-point defeat against the Celtics in their final match before the All-Star break.
“It was not easy to make this choice, but 1 we believe it is in the organization’s best interest for the future,” revealed Brooklyn GM Sean Marks. ” Vaughn has represented this team with exemplary character and class for the past 8 seasons.

During his 2-plus campaigns, he was 71-68 in the regular campaign and 0-8 in the postseason.
