Cleveland said that the QB Shedeur will make his 1st start in the league.

The Cleveland Browns will start Shedeur Sander at QB in the weekend’s match vs. the Raiders, boss Kevin Stefanski revealed today, as Dillon Gabriel remains in the league’s concussion protocol.

A son of Pro Football Hall of Famer and Colorado manager Deion Sanders, he began his career in the Browns as the 4th QB but has made his way up and now he will debut from the 1st minute on the field in Week 12. Shedeur will become the 42nd QB to start a match for Cleveland since the organization returned to the city 26 years ago.

The young quarterback is the 144th selection in the 2025 NFL Draft, as he made his debut in the league in the 2nd half of the past weekend’s 23-16 defeat at home vs. the Ravens after Gabriel was checked for a concussion during the break and was ruled out. Shedeur didn’t impress during his time on the field, completing 4 of 16 passes for 47 yards and a pick. Sander was also sacked 2 times.

His head coach shared that Shedeur will need time to develop chemistry with his teammates.
