“Calgary is such a special golf community,” said Golf Canada’s Ryan Paul, the tournament director for the CP Women’s Open.
“Every time that we come here and we start evaluating golf courses or who wants to host, it’s like every club is putting their hand up and they’re interested in hosting.
“It seems that the fans are always asking when we’re coming back to Calgary.”
The CP Women’s Open, honored by the LPGA Tour with its Tournament of Year award for 2022, always draws a stacked field.
The event was last contested in the Calgary area in 2016, although that was outside city limits at Priddis Greens.
