Cam Robinson is set to take a backup role for the opening games of the NFL season for the Jacksonville Jaguars, following his 4-match suspension from the last campaign.
The left tackle received a 4-match ban last month for violating league policy on performance-enhancing drugs.
Robinson explained he was forced to take the drug as a form of medicine to cure his torn ligament in his knee that he sustained last December.

“I hadn’t even started rehabbing yet,” he said. “I was still on crutches. I take full responsibility for it. I just got to be more careful and be more cautious about what I’m putting into my system.”
Robinson is expected to be available for 13 games this year, but general manager Doug Peterson still opted to acquire third-year pro Walker Little.
“We understand the situation. We have to prepare both guys,” Pederson said.
