Bayern Munich shared the news on social media as the caption says that the Canadian can run again in training. Davies was sidelined with an injury since April 23 when he hurt his hamstring in a match against Mainz 05 in Bundesliga.
“The 22-year-old Canada international is one step closer to getting back on the pitch,” Bayern shared in a linked message.
Alphonso expected recovery time was a month and a half, which would mean that the Canadian will be able to play around June 15.
Canada will play against Panama on June 14 in Las Vegas in the CONCACAF Nations League ½ final as the winner will play for the trophy against the winner from the second ½ final – USA and Mexico. Then, the national team will begin participating in the Gold Cup, playing at home on June 27 against a qualifier.
