Leylah made 55% of her 1st serves, hitting 7 double faults, and triumphed in only half of her 1st serve points.
The Spaniard Sara broke her serve 6 times during the game.
Sorribes Tormo will play for the title against Serbian Olga Danilović in the ITF tournament’s final tomorrow.
Fernandez (20) is number 50 in the world. Next week the French Open will begin, but given the current form of the Leylah, we can’t have high expectations for her in the upcoming Grand Slam on clay.
