Patrick, a 7-time 20-goal scorer, has faced a challenging beginning in his 2nd campaign with Montreal. Laine had 1 point, an assist, in 5 matches, with his last match on October 16th in his team’s 3-2 OT victory vs. the Predators.
Since then, Patrick has been out of the roster on a daily basis with what was announced as a lower-body problem.
The Canadiens shared about the winger’s problem 7 days after they announced that defenseman Kaiden Guhle would be out for over a month with a lower-body problem. Kaiden’s problem left Montreal without 1 of their top-4 defenseman, who was 5th in the organization in average playing time with almost 20 minutes per match.
