The deal ensures Hoglander will stay at the Canucks until 2025 and guarantees him his RFA rights upon expiry, making him liable for Vancouver to extend him once again.
Hoglander had a mixed 2022-23 campaign, bagging 14 goals and 18 assists for 32 points in 45 appearances with the Abbotsford Canucks.
However, his displays with the big team were not inspiring, as he only notched 3 goals, 6 assists for 9 points in 25 games, logging just over 12 minutes in average nightly ice time.
Nevertheless, the 22-year-old still remains a promising prospects and the Canucks will certainly be looking forward of having him for the next 2 years.
