LA Chargers QB Justin Herbert will have a procedure to repair his fractured right index finger today and was put on injured reserve, ending his current campaign, the franchise shared.
The quarterback sustained the problem in his organization’s 24-7 defeat against Denver Broncos on the past weekend after a hit from DE Zach Allen in the 2nd quarter. Justin completed a pass to TE Donald Parham Jr. on the play, got up, and looked at his right hand. The QB remained in the match for the rest of the series before leaving for the locker room and not returning to the field until the end of the clash.
