Disasi will give the Blues further depth in the center-back position after the news of Wesley Fofana’s heavy injury.
Fofana underwent an anterior cruciate ligament surgery and will be out for several months, therefore Disasi will become the perfect fit for Chelsea’s back line.
The 25-year-old has made 118 appearances for the French team since joining them in August 2020 from Stade de Reims.
He has also been called to the national team, registered 4 caps, first of which was at the World Cup in a group stage game loss to Tunisia.
The Frenchman will become Chelsea’s third summer signing, following forwards Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku to Stamford Bridge.
