Chelsea defeated Manchester United 1-0 at Stamford Bridge as the three points secured them a place in the top 4, and with a victory in their final match of the season, the Blues will play in the Champions League without depending on results from other teams.
Ruben Amorim decided to use a lot of his starters in this match despite the upcoming final in the Europa League in Bilbao against Tottenham, and that definitely shocked the Blues.

The Red Devils scored the only goal in the first half. Bruno Fernandes assisted Harry Maguire, who netted in the 16th minute. However, the goal was disallowed for offside.
Maresca’s side had two chances to score in the extra time in the 1st half but missed them both, and the 1st 45 minutes finished without a goal.
The winning goal in the game was scored by Marc Cucurella as the Spaniard headed the ball into the Red Devils’ net after a fantastic cross from Reece James that found him unmarked in the penalty area.
The Red Devils will not travel to Bilbao to face Tottenham in the Europa League final, which will also be a clash for a place in the Champions League next season.
