Chelsea received good news regarding the potential return from injury of their captain Reece James.
Before the international break in October, Pochettino hinted that the England international could have featured against Burnley had he not been serving a one-match ban. However, it was reported earlier this week that the 23-year-old has suffered a new problem after his hamstring injury during the summer, which has seen him absent from team training.
As Pochettino can count on Malo Gusto once again after serving a suspension, as well as Marc Cucurella for the spot at right back, there are probably no chances to take James into the lineup this weekend. However, the player is already training alongside the rest of his teammates and the decision whether to rely on him will be entirely up to the manager.
After appearing on the training ground, James took to his Instagram account to post a picture, captioned “Against all odds”.
