Chelsea may be forced to sell Conor Gallagher in January in order to comply with the Premier League financial demands, reports say.
The midfielder has 18 months left in his contract, but has not come to terms with the team in extending it. That may lead to his shock exit from Stamford Bridge as early as the January transfer window.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino already made an open plea that he wants new players to the squad and that could be another reason to force Gallagher out of the squad.
Chelsea have spent more than £1b in the last three transfer windows and are at a risk of breaching Profit & Sustainability Rules.
Gallagher has made 22 appearances so far this season, establishing himself as a regular starter under Pochettino, but contracts talks seem to have frozen.
