The Seagulls scored the 1^st goal in the 13^th minute by Danny Welbeck before Nkunku evened the game.

There were no more goals until Jan Paul van Hecke was sent off in the 60^th minute, and then the Blues scored 3 goals for 11 minutes as the goal scorers were Mudryk, Conor Gallagher, and Nicolas Jackson.
