The Blues added to their squad the Brazilian teen.

Chelsea signed the Brazilian teenager Angelo Gabriel from Santos as the new head coach Mauricio Pochettino wants young blood in the dressing room.

The 18-year-old player holds the record for the youngest player in the history of Brazil’s national team when he played at 15 years and 308 days.

There has yet to be an official confirmation for the transfer sum and the length of the deal, but reports are that he will cost around 17 million dollars.

“Welcome to Chelsea, Angelo!” the Blues’ official website confirmed the deal.

After playing 129 matches for Santos in all tournaments, the winger joins the London club, netting 5 goals and giving 10 assists. Gabriel also holds the record as the youngest player to score in Copa Libertadores history.
