Tosin, who will join his new team when his deal expires at the end of June, is rumored to be making the transfer in order to play in the European tournaments with the Blues as they will be part of the ECL in the next campaign.
Ex-Man City academy centre-back rejected a deal to become 1 of the highest-paid footballers at Fulham two months ago.
“Chelsea is an enormous team, and this is a dream come true for me. I was born 3 miles away from Stamford Bridge and made my professional debut at that stadium,” the defender shared after his transfer.
“I’m honored and can’t wait to help push the team in the direction we want to go.”
Tosin’s transfer means that the Blues academy defender Trevoh Chalobah will be sold during the summer transfer window.
