Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is preparing to sell at least eight players this summer in an attempt to deal with the financial situation, reports the Daily Mail.
Having spent £600m on players between May 2022 and now, the Blues’ squad will need to be cleaned up to free up resources. This comes after the club had negtive financial statements for the 2021/2022 season due to transfers and increased wages.

As Chelsea look forward to the upcoming season without European football, the important decisions must be made by the club’s management.
The likes of Mason Mount, Mateo Kovicic and N’Golo Kante face uncertain futures due to their high wages, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Christian Pulisic and Conor Gallagher are also set to leave.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Hakim Ziyech and Romelu Lukaku are among the names being considered for a complete sale before the start of next season.
