The Blues started the match phenomenally and had 2-goal lead after the 1st 19 minutes of the match as Conor Gallagher scored in the 4th minute and Cole Palmer converted a penalty after that.

However, the Red Devils made a comeback to even the result before the end of the 1st half. Alejandro Garnacho scored in the 34th minute, and Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes tied the result in the 39th minute.

Erik Ten Hag’s side made a complete comeback when Alejandro Garnacho scored his 2nd goal in the game in the 69th minute after a phenomenal assist from Antony.

However, that wasn’t all at all, as the drama continued in the extra time when Chelsea received a penalty, and Palmer converted it in the 100th minute to tie the match. The referee left an additional minute for both teams to play, and the Blues got a corner as Enzo Fernandez found Cole Palmer alone inside the Red Devils’ penalty box, and his shot went into Onana’s net for his hat trick and to secure the victory for the home side.
