The London side have wanted to sign the Nigerian for a long time, who helped Napoli to win 1st Italian championship in 33 years’ last campaign.
Osimhen was even the Blues main forward target during the summer transfer window, but the Italian team refused to sell the striker.
However, Victor can become available in January after the player’s agent, Roberto Calenda, has admitted that they are thinking about suing the side after Napoli posted a video disparaging the forward on TikTok.
The publication on social media has been deleted, but the Nigeria international is furious with how the Serie A champions have treated him.
The discussion between Napoli and Osimhen over a deal renewal had slowed down recently, and with the latest issue, it is very unlikely that the Nigerian striker would ink an extension with the club in the future.
