Cole Palmer is ready to be on the pitch vs. Arsenal in the London derby at the end of the weekend at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea’s star sustained a toe injury when stubbing it on a door in the past week and was sidelined in the victories vs. Burnley and Barcelona.
Palmer has struggled with injuries in the current campaign and has appeared in only 5 matches in all tournaments.
“Cole could start the match against Arsenal,” his head coach revealed.
“That is great news for everyone in the club and especially Palmer, who is happy as being on the pitch is the most important thing for any footballer. Cole is our best player, and we are happy that he can play again,” Maresca added.
Chelsea are in a great position to cut Arsenal’s lead at the top to only 3 points with a victory on Sunday. Cole’s game was back on September 20th when his team lost 2-1 to Man United, as his team has played 13 matches since then in all tournaments, with a record of 10 victories, 1 draw, and 2 defeats.
