Chris Paul is gearing up to start his 19th year in the NBA rocking the 6th different jersey of his long career. He is embarking on a new adventure with the Golden State Warriors, having been traded there in late June as part of the package that sent Bradley Beal from Washington to Phoenix.
The veteran spoke on the Dubs Talk podcast, via NBC Sports Warriors. “It’s been seamless. I have 19 years of experience. The game hadn’t changed unless they started shooting with something different. I feel like what I’ve been fortunate is this isn’t my first time changing teams. It’s not the first time I’ve heard outside noise, so every time I change teams, everyone says “It’s not gonna work”, Chris Paul said.
Before joining the seven-time NBA champions, the 38-year-old point guard has played for the New Orleans Hornets (2005-11), the Los Angeles Clippers (2011-17), the Houston Rockets (2017-19), the Oklahoma City Thunder (2019-20), and finally the Phoenix Suns (2020-23), reaching the 2021 NBA Finals.
