Reid Sinnett has been inked to the franchise’s practice roster. The deal comes 1 day after Joe didn’t practice amid a calf injury, and the organization’s backup QB, Will Grier, was inked to the New England Patriots’ active squad.
Sinnett inked with Cincinnati after Burrow initially sustained his strained right calf at the beginning of practice camp. The ex-University of San Diego QB was the team’s number 3 QB while Burrow recovered from his problem.
When the Bengals cut its squad to make the 53-man limit after they finished their training camp, Reid was waived and not re-inked to the practice team. Cincinnati chose to go with Grier, who the Dallas Cowboys released.
Sinnett had previously been part of the practice rosters of the Bucs and the Dolphins.
