QB Joe Burrow, WR Tee Higgins, and LB Logan Wilson are all up for contract extensions in the current campaign, while 2-time Pro Bowl WR Ja’Marr Chase can ink a new contract next season.
The Bengals’ president claimed that signing extensions would all of the franchise’s elite players can be difficult because of the salary cap constraints.
“We have elite players that need to be fed,” Mike shared. “That’s demanding. It’s mathematical. You receive a bag of corn, and you have ten hogs. Well, you are going to use it all to feed them. The bag’s going to be empty. And some of the players will still be hungry.”
Joe Burrow will begin his 4th year in the league and is coming off his best campaign in the NFL.
