Cincinnati Bengals WR Tee Higgins will not be on the field on Sunday when his franchise plays vs. the Houston Texans, manager Zac Taylor shared today.
The wide receiver sustained a hamstring injury two days ago and didn’t train more this week. Higgins watched the WRs in individual drills during the open portion of yesterday’s training and was not spotted in today’s practice.
Bengals manager didn’t tell how long his wide receiver will be sidelined with an injury as the organization will face the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday in a very important AFC North clash.
“I can’t think of our game next week right now,” the head coach claimed. ” Higgins is not going to play on Sunday.”
However, WR Ja’Marr Chase could be on the field on Sunday. After Chase missed Wednesday’s training due to a back problem but was spotted practicing today.
“I thought everything was fine,” Taylor admitted of Chase’s training today.
Players ruled out for Sunday include Nico Collins (pictured), Dameon Pierce, Brevin Jordan, Ka’imi Fairbairn, Andrew Beck, Jimmie Ward, Tee Higgins, Sam Hubbard, Zay Jones, Aaron Banks, Drake Jackson, Treylon Burks, Nicholas Petit-Frere, Daniel Brunskill, Minkah Fitzpatrick,… pic.twitter.com/Xd0eSEKrBg
