Indianapolis' QB exited the match against Baltimore with the problem.

Indianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson Sr. needed to leave the field after being flattened by an unblocked defender when he tried to secure the ball.

At the moment, the quarterback knew that something was wrong as his right pinkie turned at nearly a 90-degree angle.

Anthony sustained a dislocated pinkie on his throwing hand in the 24-16 defeat against the Ravens when LB David Ojabo sacked him in the middle of the 1st quarter in the 1st preseason match for both organizations.

After he left the field, the medical team popped the finger back into place of the QB, but the Colts didn’t want to take any chances, and he didn’t return, and his competitor for the starting position, Daniel Jones, finished the match.

“It was very strange,” shared Indianapolis quarterback with the media after the game. “Ojabo hit me as I was trying to collect the ball and was not looking. That’s when my finger went in a different direction. I thought that maybe I didn’t see something right, but after checking my finger again, I realized what had happened.”

Richardson added that despite that, he will be alright soon and return to the field.
