The Washington Commanders will be without Deebo Samuel for the upcoming match vs. the Dallas Cowboys because of a bruised heel that has plagued him in the last 2 matches.
And that leaves the NFL franchise from the USA capital and QB Jayden Daniels without their top 3 receivers on Sunday.
Terry McLaurin will miss 4th straight match, and Noah Brown was placed on injured reserve at the beginning of the week after being out in the previous 4 matches.
Deebo leads the Commanders with 34 catches for 315 yards and 3 TDs. At the end of the week, Samuel revealed his bruised heel was “aggravating.” However, the team received one positive news as they activated starting right guard Sam Cosmi from the physically unable to play list.
Sam tore his ACL in Washington’s NFL divisional postseason victory vs. the Lions at the beginning of 2025. Cosmi started every match at right guard for the Commanders in the previous 2 years. The organization also activated reserve corner Jonathan Jones and released DE Jalyn Holmes. Jonathan was unavailable in the past 4 matches due to a hamstring problem.
