The 30-year-old is not interested long-term in his current team

Connor Hellebuyck is not interested in extending his contract with the Winnipeg Jets long-term, reports say.
The Athletic even claimed that there should be no debate as to whether the 30-year-old goaltender will sign an extension.
“That ship has sailed. His next contract will be with a new team.” it said.
Hellebuyck won the Vezina Trophy in 2019 and finished runner-up this season. He still has a year left in his contract, but if the Jets decide to keep him that would mean they will lose him for nothing in 2024.
The goaltender has already been a center of speculation for a potential move to many teams. Along with a potential departure of Pierre-Luc Dubois, Mark Scheifele’s future also becomes uncertain.
