The Arizona team looked merciless and absolutely destroyed their inferior opponent

The Arizona Coyotes demolished the Chicago Blackhawks 8-1 to end a 2-game losing streak on Monday night.

Surprisingly, it was Chicago, who edged out in front with only 28 second played through Connor Bedard. But their joy was short-lived as Arizona took full control of the match and absolutely smashed the opposition.

Michael Carcone was the star of the show with his first career hat trick, along with an assist.

“It’s pretty crazy, I’m not going to lie,” Carcone said after the game. “It’s definitely emotional for me. I’m proud of myself and proud of my linemates.”

Jack McBain finished with 2 goals and 2 assists, while Liam O’Brien and Sean Durzi had a goal and an assist. Alex Kerfoot registered 3 assists, as goaltender Connor Ingram made 31 saves.

The Coyotes were 7-1 up after only 2 period and essentially closed out the remainder of the match.
