Cristiano Ronaldo doesn’t view Lamine Yamal as a potential Ballon d’Or favorite, because the Spaniard is still a teenager and his club failed in the Champions League.
A lot of people view Yamal as a favorite for the Golden Ball after a phenomenal campaign in which he has netted 18 goals and provided 25 assists. However, the Portuguese legend believes that too much pressure is being placed on the teenager and thinks the PSG footballer must win the award.
Kylian Mbappe also thinks the same, as his favorite for the Ballon d’Or is Ousmane Dembele, who scored 33 goals and provided 15 assists in all tournaments, including 2 assists in their 5-0 thrashing of Inter in the UCL final.

The Portugal superstar shared this: “The individual awards lost their value. I know what goes on behind the scenes, and that’s why I see it that way. After all, they are irrelevant, and what your team accomplished is the most important thing in football.”
Cristiano will play against Lamine tomorrow when they face each other in the Nations League final.
