They topped their group with one less game than Turkey
Croatia clinched an important 1-0 win over Armenia in their away game in Round 6 of Euro 2024 qualifiers.
The bronze medalists from 2022 World Cup were quick to score and were ahead inside the first 15 minutes. Andrej Kramaric fired a rebound into the net and although the linesman lifted his flag, VAR checked the situation and overruled the decision, showing that everything in the attack is okay.
After the break Croatia had couple more chances to score, but the home goalkeeper made some amazing saves to keep his team into the game. With the win Croatia topped the group with 10 points – level with Turkey, but with one less game played. Armenia is third with seven points.
