One of Team USA’s biggest stars, Stephen Curry didn’t hid his excitement of finally playing alongside LeBron James.
The duo, previously rivals in three consecutive NBA Finals, will now join forces to lead the USA to gold at the Paris Olympic Games.
Steph Curry revealed that he, LeBron James and Kevin Durant recreated the iconic photo of Larry Bird, Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson from the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona 🤩

“Being teammates with LeBron is exactly as I imagined. He understands the game at an extremely high level and is one of the greatest legends in basketball,” Curry said. “When you have people around you who know what to do on the court, good things usually happen. It’s fun. He is in his 22nd year, and I’m in my 16th, but we both still have something to give to the game. We both wanted to be part of Team USA, and that means a lot to us. We’ve never played together before, and now we want to show the world that we can win the Olympics.”
Curry, the Golden State Warriors leader, also reflected on his early experiences with the national team, particularly recalling the U19 World Championship in 2007, where Serbia defeated the USA in the final held in Belgrade.

“My journey started from the U19 World Championship in 2007, and then I played at the World Championships in 2010 and 2014. This year’s Olympic Games are the first in my career. The World Championship in Belgrade in 2007 was my first participation in the national team. Everything was great until we lost the gold medal match against Serbia. They beat us. However, I had a great time with the people I later encountered in the NBA – Patrick Beverley, Jonny Flynn, Michael Beasley, DeAndre Jordan, and many others with whom I still keep in touch,” added the four-time NBA champion.
