It was all to reminiscent of his memorable display in Game 7 of the playoffs, where he scored 50 points as that was the last time they stepped on Golden 1 Center.
“Steph loves every building and every rim,” coach Steve Kerr said. “He’s Steph. I don’t know what else to say.”
The Warriors established a solid lead thanks to Curry’s light work and despite late rally from Sacramento, they managed to hold on. Klay Thompson ended the game with 18 points, while Chris Paul had 10, along with 12 assists and two turnovers.
De’Aron Fox led the way for the Kings with 39 points, while Domantas Sabonis added another 19, along with 18 rebounds and 7 assists.
