Prescott is having a tremendous season and that has led the franchise into contemplating as to whether to give him an extension as his current contract expires in 2024.
Prescott currently is expected to carry a $60 million cap charge in 2024, along with no trade and no tag clauses.
In the 12 games he has played so far, Prescott has recorded 3,234 yards, 26 touchdowns and six interceptions. He has a 70.1% completion percentage, along with a 75.5 quarterback rating.
So far the Cowboys sit 5th with a pleasant 9-3 record.
