Ricciardo leaves F1 as Lawson replaces him in Red Bull

After McLaren dismissed him in the past campaign, Daniel became Red Bull’s 3^rd driver at the beginning of this campaign, working on the team’s simulator and doing ambassador work for Red Bull.

During a Pirelli tire test for Red Bull in the past week, the news came that Daniel would race again in Formula One after taking the place of Nyck de Vries in AlphaTauri, and he will finish the year with the team.

“I had more than enough time away from the competition, so I can be ready to do it again,” Ricciardo shared. “I already felt that when I was driving the simulator, but that’s why I also wanted to do test driving in a car, and it became clear in my mind that’s what I want to drive.”
