The cornerback will be looking to bolster the Las Vegas team

Cornerback David Long Jr. has reportedly signed a one-year deal as a free transfer with the Las Vegas Raiders, the club announced on Wednesday.

Long entered the NFL League back in 2019 as a third-round Draft pick by the Rams out of Michigan. Since then he has managed to bag a total of 77 tackles, 7 passes defensed and one interceptions in 52 games (10 of which as a regular starter) during his spell with Los Angeles.

His best season came in 2021, when he achieved career-high 40 tackles and 4 passes defenses, including his first caree interception. He started in five out of the 16 games he played, helping the Rams on their path to the Super Bowl-winning playoff.
