The right tackle is set to undergo a surgery in order to fix the issue, which will keep him out of play for a long time.
The news is another blow for the Cleveland Browns, who have had to deal with handful of injuries all throughout the season.
Coach Kevin Stefanski revealed that Jones sustained the injury during practice session and as a result James Hudson III started in Sunday’s game against the Jaguars.
“I’ve seen Dawand make great strides on and off the field,” Stefanski said. “We have a great room, that offensive line room with the coaches and the players, that’s a room that is great for a young player to see how you operate, how you prepare, how you work and I thought he got better as the season went on.”
