The Australian won all of his games against Britain in his career – 6 from 6.

Alex De Minaur defeated Andy Murray 2-1 sets after more than 3 hours in a matchup from the 1/32 finals at the Masters 1000 in Paris and advanced to the 2nd round of the tournament.

The Australian won the 1st set after a tiebreak – 7-5 points after both players spent 1 hour and 6 minutes in the opening set on the court.

However, Murray regrouped in the 2nd set and, with 2 breaks from 3 opportunities, closed it 6-4 as De Minaur broke the Britain serve only once.

Everything seemed to be in favor of Andy in the deciding set as he was leading 5-2 games, but after that, his Australian opponent won 5 straight games in a row – including breaking Murray’s serve 3 times and triumphing in the 3rd set 7-5 after another epic set that lasted longer than an hour. After the very dramatic defeat, Murray broke rackets on the court as he was very angry.

The Australian will play against Lajovic or Bonzi in the next round at the tournament in Paris.
