Denver Nuggets officially got their ticket to the Western Conference’s second round with a 112-109 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday.
Canada’s Jamal Murray was crucial for the win and lead Denver in Game 5, finishing with a game-high 35 points which included shooting 5-of-9 from three.

Nikola Jokic added a tripple-double for Nuggets with28 points, 17 rebounds and 12 assists. Anthony Edwards was the leading scorer for Timberwolves with 29 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists.

With the series victory, the Nuggets will now await the winner of the Los Angeles Clippers and Phoneix Sunse series. The Suns held a 3-1 series lead heading into Game 5 on Tuesday night.
