'Villain' mark influences ejection.

Memphis Grizzlies player Dillon Brooks thinks that the determinant element for his flagrant foul 2 call is that everyone thinks of him as the ‘bad guy.’  The Grizzlies forward was forced out of the game in the 3rd quarter in Game 3 against LA Lakers after hitting LeBron James in the groin.

Dillon announced that neither of the referees explained why he was thrown out of the match after accidentally hitting James after trying to steal the ball.

“The media making me a villain, the fans making me a villain, and then that just creates a different character on me,” Dillon claims. “So now you think I tried to hit LeBron in the nuts? I’m playing basketball. I’m a basketball player. So if I intended — and that’s whatever is in the flagrant 2 — if you think I did that, that means you think I’m that type of human.”

Brooks can play in Game 4 after the National Basketball League and will not seek further punishment.
