The world No.1 lost a set and now will have to wait to see if he qualifies for Finals' last four

Novak Djokovic finished his group stage schedule at the ATP Finals in Turin with a victory.

In his third match from the Green Group, the leader in the world ranking beat the Polish Hubert Hurkach 7:6(1), 4:6, 6:1 after 2 hours and 3 minutes of play. However, the success does not guarantee a place for the Serbian in the semi-finals, and he will have to wait for the outcome of the late match between the Italian Jannik Sinner and the Dane Holger Rune.

Because of the set lost by Djokovic, Sinner can no longer be displaced from one of the first two places in the group and qualified for the semifinals. If the Italian beats Rune, Djokovic will continue as well. However, if Rune wins, regardless of the result, the Dane and the Italian will play in the semifinals, and Djokovic will be eliminated.
