When he had to serve, he had some great serves, big plays and he absolutely deserved the title. You’re amazing! I thought I’d only have problems with you on clay and hard courts, but not on grass. Now that’s a different story. Congratulations on the amazing way you adapted to the surface. You hadn’t played much on grass before this Wimbledon. You won in Queens too. Congratulations to your whole team, Juan Carlos Ferrero and the rest – great job,” the Djoker said.

“From my point of view, I never like to lose, especially matches like this. Emotions aside, I have to be grateful because I have won many close matches like this in the past. You remember the final in 2019 against Rodger when I was a match point behind. Maybe I’ve won other finals when I thought it was impossible,” he added.
