Novak Djokovic trashed Tallon Griekspoor 6-2 6-3 and stormed into the quater-finals of the Dubai Tennis Championships.
A day after being taken to three sets by Tomas Machac, Djokovic returned to his usual brilliance.
The 22-times Grand Slam champion was in no mood to waste any more time after a couple of short delays due to light rain. Djokovic was solid from the baseline, but also showed soft hands with a vintage drop shot and followed it up with a stunning pass at the net before surging to a 4-0 lead.
Griekspoor managed to win a game and world number one Djokovic dropped serve with a double fault before sealing victory in style.
Very very good performance from Novak Djokovic to reach the QFs in Dubai. Included a lot of moments like this 🔥 pic.twitter.com/OYHATPAHL9
